PATEK PHILIPPE Grand Prix Paris 1889 Gondolo. Movimento n. 137152 a carica manuale. Peso lordo complessivo 78g. Movimento, cassa e quadrante firmati.1900 Ca.
Mechanical movement no.137152. 52mm double hunter in yellow gold. Wonderful blue enamel dial with golden arabic numerals. Small seconds at 6 o'clock. Total gross weight 78g. Signed movement, case and dial. Circa 1900. Timepiece in excellent state of preservation. The blue dial could be a one-off, although there is no certainty. In our opinion it was commissioned by the owner of the object directly to the parent company years after the first purchase. In any case, this intense blue dial with a wave effect is undoubtedly a showstopper. In excellent state of preservation, the watch is sold with fob, original box and Patek Philippe official archive extract. At time of cataloguing the watch appears to be working, although the movement hasn't been tested for accuracy of time. Considering the particular dial, first-hand viewing is recommended.
